Kurt Walker has been driven by this passion to create a life on his terms. For Kurt, it's never been about the easy road. He's spent much of his life undertaking ventures that allow him to grow his dreams, passions, and skills- skills that he puts into practice in his daily life. One of these is confidence, and confidence, in Kurt's words, is key to success.

Kurt never had a "traditional" job in the sense we usually think, the 9-5 commute every day. In college he started buying and selling homes for profit, an endeavor that can be extremely risky, but allowed him to start capital brokering and private equity transactions. That same year, he launched his first music festival, a wildly-successful event that's evolved into dozens of festivals per year drawing thousands across major cities in the United States. Kurt's success in event production and management got him thinking, how could he best move forward from here? As it turns out, executive production of large events meshes very well with strategy, and for the next few years he spent his time managing more than twenty five marketing campaigns for companies in a number of countries.

Kurt's wanderlust has led him to live all over the country, wherever the wind inspires him to go. From the east coast to Alaska to Hawaii, Kurt's made sure he can take care of his work wherever he may reside. He wanted more out of life; he wanted a lifestyle rich in experiences instead of things, as it were. With confidence and the drive to succeed, Kurt has been able to pour himself into creating start-up funding businesses, something he finds especially fascinating. After years of blood, sweat, and tears, these have evolved into his opus- Fundbrella.
